Home Our Committees Operation Friendship Seniors Operation Friendship Seniors

Every Christmas and Easter the Kinsmen club of Edmonton provides meals and presents to the less fortunate adults of the inter city, Boyle McCauley Health Center, 10628-96 Street.  In addition to financial support for these meals the kinsmen themselves prepare and serve the meals.

There is a great feeling of well being in knowing that you are making a small difference in someone’s life who otherwise may have gone without any recognition of the holidays if not for the actions of a few kinsmen. This project was started back in 1973 in conjunction with a request from the Operation Friendship Seniors Society to provide some funding to supplement other donations.  The club saw this as a great opportunity to transform this token request into what has turned into a long term commitment to help where help is needed most.
